Sept. 12, 2017 – Today, the U.S. News and World Report released their 2018 Best Colleges Rankings, naming Newbury as one of the Best Regional Colleges in the North. U.S. News uses up to 15 indicators of academic excellence including graduation and retention rates, academic reputation, faculty resources, student selectivity, etc. to calculate the rankings.
Newbury combines experiential learning with a liberal arts core to give students a well-rounded, career-focused education. The College’s dedication to student success in the classroom and after graduation helped Newbury earn a spot in this year’s U.S. News rankings.
U.S. News also released rankings of institutions with the best campus ethnic diversity in which Newbury was listed fifth of all Regional Colleges in the North and is the only college in New England to make the Top 5. Newbury is proud to provide a welcoming and inclusive education for all students.
