Dr. Aaron Tillman, Readings from and Discussion of Every Single Bone in my Brain
Join Dr. Aaron Tillman, Associate Professor of English and Director of the Honors Program, for readings and discussion from his recently published collection of short stories Every Single Bone in My Brain.
Dr. Tillman has worked at Newbury since 2010 and has published many works of fiction, poetry, essays and more. His work has received many awards and recognitions throughout his career. Tillman earned his Ph.D. in English from the University of Rhode Island, his Master of Fine Arts in Fiction Writing from Sarah Lawrence College and his Bachelor of Arts in English from Hobart College.
Every Single Bone in My Brain was published in summer 2017 by Braddock Avenue Books. It features 14 short stories exploring personal and cultural identities. The stories, ranging from two to 30 pages, can be satirical, magical, allegorical, realistic, et cetera, yet all have humor throughout and feature “flawed, but endearingly human characters” according to Tillman.
