On December 14, 2018, Newbury College announced its intention to commence closing of the College. Although no specific closing date has been set, the intent is to cease operations after the Spring 2019 semester.
Throughout this closure process, Newbury College remains committed to providing students with a high quality education through the Spring term, as well as helping students in their transfer plans for the 2019-2020 academic year and beyond.
As Newbury College prepares to cease business operations after the spring 2019 semester, it is working with Lasell College who will serve as the Institution of Record moving forward. As Lasell College prepares to assume the responsibility of being Newbury's Institution of Record, Newbury College will begin sharing record data immediately to ensure that all systems are compatible and that records will transfer without problem and/or delay. Lasell College will continue to adhere to all FERPA regulations as it relates to the transfer and maintenance of Newbury's institutional records.
